At Victor Fields Elementary, we pride ourselves on strong student achievement, engaged parental support, and rigorous inquiry-based teaching and learning. We have a long history of excellence dating back to 1947 when our doors first opened to the McAllen community, and I am very humbled and blessed to continue that legacy as Principal.
This past school year, our students continued their journey in becoming caring and responsible citizens. Through the guidance of teachers and counselors, our students participated in food drives, raised funds for March of Dimes and the Vannie E. Cook Cancer Society, collected much-needed supplies for our neighbors The Comfort House, and loved and supported one another through the #Choose2Matter campaign.
Our students also grew academically as scientists always investigating and researching, as readers through daily practice and commitment, as mathematicians analyzing and solving problems, and as historians researching the great accomplishments of those before us.
Of course, all of these accolades and accomplishments would not be possible without the trust and support of our parents and community. I thank you for your commitment and dedication to the success of our children. Together we can do more!
